Kawah Putih

Me and Mr. Photographer went to Kawah Putih last Tuesday. Kawah Putih is a crater surrounded by hills, woods, and rocks. It was 2,5 hour driving from Bandung to Ciwidey. The road was so bumpy, I felt like forever going there. When we arrived, the scenery was amazing!! Almost like Phi-Phi Island (from what i saw on TV) minus the sea and add some sulfur scent. When we're there, there were three couples taking their pre wedding photo shoots, a visually challenged teenage girl singer that won the singing contest on TV who was making her music video, and a lot of tourist either from other countries or local people.

Hello Kitty and Strawberry Bags

My mom came from Banjarmasin few days ago and brought me 2 bags. Hello Kitty bag and Strawberry bag. My mom got them from a wedding. The bags came as souvenirs. They're so cuteeeee.. I always love Hello Kitty!

I got this jacket from a fine discount while shopping with my mom.
I love the colour and perfectly fit for Bandung's weather



I buy these legging in the same store as the jacket.
The first one is Tosca brocade legging
and the second one is black brocade legging.



I got this dress from my grandma. The white shirts I got from my aunt.
I never thought that I will have this kind of dress. They're way too girly for me.



This dress I got from my grandma too.
Adding the leather jacket made the dress suit me.



My father watched me doing this and he just laughed.

I miss Architecture

I went to Tika's place and found this free magazine called Orders. It tells about architecture and some art stuff. So, from this magazine, I read some names that I know. Either it's my friends' name, my lecturers, or just some famous people in the architectural industry here in Bandung. Reading orders and found my friends' name made me realize how far I have been away from architecture. Strangely I feel sad and kinda miss the whole conception and designing things. I never thought that I'd feel this way since I think I am pretty sure that I don't really want to be an architect. But maybe deep down inside, I still want to be a part of it.

New Boots

I have new shoes.. It's a rain boots. I really want a nice jelly rain boots but I couldn't find them here in Bandung. The colorful boots are only for kids. Lucky if you are size 36 or 35, You can fit in those beautiful red jelly boots with blue sole. So I decided to made them. It's beige and made from faux leather. After waited for 1 month, I finally got them. They are beautiful and fit properly but since I need money to buy ticket for PHOENIX concert, I decided to sell them..
Any interest anyone?

Indian Party

I went to Indian Party last Saturday night at my friend 's place. We all dress up as Indian in colorful clothes. The food were too spicy for me. The people were great. Good party after all..
I wear my old shocking pink tunic that I bought for Christmas 3 years ago. It's from PS. I customized the size since the smallest size is too big for me.. PS made good Indian inspired tunic I think. Especially when near Ramadan month. I am a huge fan of tunic, beads, Indian prints. All of Indian culture. Currently I am falling in love with black Mango tunic with golden beads.

Old Building, New Factory Outlet

I went to Indonesian Institute of Architect seminar last Saturday. They talked about the ethic of an architect. I met some of my friends and we talked about how factory outlet grew so quickly in Bandung. I saw this new factory outlet called Unusual, I think they change the house into the store for less than one month. I haven't been there yet so I don't know whether they sell good clothes or just the same with the other outlets. Some factory outlet did help conserving the old buildings by changing only the inside part of the building and not the facade while some other just completely change the beautiful facade into something horrible. Maybe that's what the client want, but couldn't the architect talked the clients into it? So, from the seminar, they said that as an architect we have to be able to manage between public legitimation and clients demands.

Girls Days

I went to Jakarta with my friends. We went to Waterbom, Grand Indonesia and Mangga Dua. I was so happy being able to spend 2 days and 1 night with them. It's a very rare moment since we have different jobs and activities. I just realized how helpful was my GPS mobile phone. We almost get lost there in Jakarta. Huhuhu..

Finally I finished this dress after misplaced the skirt two times.. It's little over sized but it's OK. I placed the pockets too low tough.. Next time I will better in sewing and making pattern!

Confickered Laptop

My laptop just got repaired again and I found out just now that it has conficker virus. I am still trying to goggling how to delete it. Because of that, I haven't done any blog updates and upload some pictures to facebook (so sorry girls.. will work on it as soon as possible).

My Laptop Is Back!

I upgraded my laptop last week. Now I can use 3D max in my laptop. Yeeeaaaahh
but I lose my portfolios. The architecture and fashion portfolio. AAaarrgghh..

The architecture portfolio hasn't finish yet so i don't really care.
But the fashion one.. AAAhhhhhhhh!!

I have to start looking for it in Mr. Photographer's files.

Lack of Sleep

I planned to finish my dress project today. I slept 2am yesterday just to sew pockets. Because of that, I woke up late today and start sewing again. By the time I finished sewing the dress, I realized that I sew the wrong side of the skirt part. I sewed the back side in the front..

sigh!

I have to do that all over again.

The Day My Car AC Broke Down

My car AC broke down yesterday. It suddenly went off so I travelled around town with no AC on today. It's almost felt like travelling with public transportation except the good seat. I will travel with public transportation tomorrow and have a busy day so I think that I should change my bag into a backpack.
